I was entrusted by Mr. Yang, a renowned brand celebrated for its traditional Chinese pastries, to craft two distinctive illustrations for their packaging boxes—one for everyday use and another for the Moon Festival. Customers will enter the store with an empty box, allowing them the freedom to handpick their desired pastries. Each illustration will spotlight popular pastry offerings like fried dough twists, rice cakes, moon cakes, red date cakes, and more. My goal is to capture the joyous essence evoked by these delectable treats while also encapsulating the profound historical significance of Chinese pastries within contemporary lifestyles through my artwork.
