Zhang Yuan Opening Show (张园）

Located in Shanghai's core area, the rejuvenated Zhang Yuan, dating back to 1882, reopened to the public. Collaborating with WB Show, I contributed five animated illustrations for the lighting display at the opening show, running from late 2022 through the Chinese New Year period in 2023. The animations aimed to offer an immersive experience of old Shanghai life, portraying scenes like a lady at a hair salon, a couple taking wedding photos, madams playing cards, a child buying soy sauce, and a girl trying on dresses in a cheongsam store, all accompanied by Shanghaiese dubbing.
